Telling Grandma Tish and Grandpa Jim

We decided to not only surprise Jim and Tish with our news but also with a visit.  We contacted their great friends Ron and Natalie and dinner plans were made for them to all go to Jan and Jerry's house. We walked into the house as they finished up dinner and you can imagine how shocked and surprised they were to see us.   After the excitement from that settled Ryan told them he had some pictures to show them and we had put together a little brag book.  Tish LOVES pictures (probably even more than I do) so we always make copies of our travels for her so this was nothing out of the ordinary.  The first picture was of us at the Hot Air Balloon Festival, the second of us with my parents at the Packers game in San Diego, the third was a picture of my nieces holding a sign saying "We are so excited to meet our baby cousin Redding" and the next was a picture of them holding signs saying "Congrats Grandma Tish" and "Congrats Grandpa Jim"....at this point Tish burst into tears and was not able to speak, she then tried to share the news with all of their friends but it came out sounding like a language she made up and Jim claims she was speaking in tongue.  Eventually she was able to speak and we were also able to show her the next pictures which were two of the sonogram images.  Tish then told us this was going to be the Best Baby Ever because it was the first time she was actually able to make out the baby in the picture :)  For anyone who knows Tish it won't come as a shock that we were not able to leave town without a little shopping for her Grand-baby!
