It is hard to believe that we are getting this close. On Saturday we attended a prepared childbirth class and learned everything from breathing to swaddling. Ryan and I both chuckled when the instructor brought up the nesting instinct as an early sign of labor being right around the corner and stated that many women will have the urge to get everything organized in the house - Ryan claims I have been doing this since we got married!! (Truth be told I have been doing it for much longer than that!) At this point all we have left to do is get the car seat installed and then we are completely ready for Baby to arrive! We also had our final ultrasound on Friday and got another peak at Baby Redding. The picture below might be a little hard to make out but we got a kick out of it - Baby has its little feet crossed and up near its face and is actually holding the one foot with its hand and appears to be trying to get the foot in its mouth! We really didn't get to see much of Baby's face because it had its feet in the way most of the time! The tech estimated the baby to weigh right around 6 lbs 11 ounces, which means if baby arrives on its due date it is estimated to weigh 8 lbs, 11 ounces - which surprisingly only puts he/she at the 58 percentile.
And at 36 weeks, here's my latest baby bump pic! Ryan claims it looks like I have a basketball under my shirt!
